Sure it’s slated to be a bar, but the Renaissance Chicago Hotel’s new Bar Novo (opening October 1st) is going to give diners and drinkers and entirely new way to be entertained. Bar Novo will feature an open chef’s station located in the center of the bar, which uses an innovative induction style cook-top that eliminates the use of open-flames.
Thanks to a glass wall that separates it from the customers, you’ll get a centralized view of your food being prepared on the turbo chef oven. If it sounds like a futuristic cooking device, well, it kind of is! The oven combines convection and microwave technology which allows food items to be cooked crisply and quickly, which means you can sink your teeth into a delish burger before you even have a chance to finish your first beer. Bar Novo’s new and innovative atmosphere will offer a fun and exciting way to spend your night on the town.
