Call it traditional or call it cliché, but we Americans associate wine-drinking with having class. While disgruntled beer-drinkers may dispute this trend, elegant events like these help to prove why wine enthusiasts rightly reign as the classiest liquor lovers in the land!
Cab is KING, a five-course Franciscan wine dinner, will be the second installment of Bon Appetit Presents Chicago Gourmet’s ongoing Wine & Spirits Dinner Series – something of a summer preview for the big Millennium Park event starting in September. So this coming Tuesday, June 26th, head over to the fabulous Phil Stefani’s 437 Rush for a unique wine and dining experience!
Jane Myers, an expert in the intricate world of Franciscan wine, will lead her guests through five-courses, complimenting each with a rare wine, prepared in the notorious wineries of Napa Valley. The evening’s Milanese dinner menu will be prepared by chef Federico Comacchio, and surely his sophisticated selections will be enjoyed by all in attendance. Unconvinced? See the menu. Cost for this special event is $85 per person (exclusive of tax and gratuity).
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres are served at 6:30 p.m., and dinner is served at 7 p.m. Just call for reservations, 312-222-0101.
