Lincoln Park Zoo has been transformed into a dazzling wonderland with a series of fun, free seasonal activities as part of its annual ZooLights event.
ZooLights will shine each Friday–Sunday until December 26, at which point the lights will stay on nightly until January 6. (Santa heads back to the North Pole after December 23, however.) The zoo is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with special ZooLights activities beginning at 5 p.m. As always, entrance to this beloved winter wonderland is FREE for the whole family! This year’s offerings include:
- Photos with Santa through December 23
- Free holiday crafts
- Animal encounters
- New 3-D displays
- Warm spiced wine and frosty lagers
- Live ice carving every night
- Carousel and train rides
- Musical light show
The first 1,000 guests each night will receive a pair of cool holiday specs to check out the lights!
