I love Exhale for their staff, top-notch spa services and amazing body-transforming classes–I always leave feeling good about myself.
But this Saturday night, Exhale’s giving all of us the opportunity to feel good about ourselves, long after we walk out the door.
Exhale is hosting a fundraiser this Saturday, Jan. 23, to raise funds to support the Haiti relief effort. Anna Argeropoulos will be teaching an inspirational music yoga flow class in their candlelit, temple-like yoga studio.
The Vinyasa-style yoga class will conclude with a short meditation and prayer for healing. No worries if you’re a newbie, all levels are welcome.
This will be a donation-only class and 100% of the proceeds will go the American Red Cross. The class runs from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Reserve a spot by calling Exhale at 312-753-6500. Space is limited.
Be sure to check out our last post on other opportunities around Chicago to contribute to Haiti relief.

Sure, Chicago has a bevy of restaurants that are BYOB, and in this economy, ”bringing your own” is starting to become more vogue. But what if you’d rather gab with the gals and well, get pampered? Perhaps you’ll be as surprised (and happy) as I was to hear that there is actually a spa destination with BYOB status.
Arbre Nail Spa in both Old Town and River North is a full-service spa boasting a variety of nail, massage, facial and waxing services. They’re also a part of the pack that can’t let go of Sex in the City, so you’ll find two flat screen TV’s playing all your old favorite episodes.
But perhaps one of the most exciting elements is the ability to throw a BYOB party! It’s a fun alternative when celebrating an engagment, divorce, new job or anything in-between. Bring your favorite food and drink and Arbre will provide the glasses, silverware, napkins and settings for you. Why wait for the next martinis and manicures event to post? Create your own any day of the week!
